ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Hawaii, and I believe that has a very profound effect on the way that I approach photography and filmmaking. Hawaii is home to so many unique cultures and backgrounds, each with their own adventures and stories, and I think being exposed to that at a young age through my parents' photography really opened my eyes to see just how powerful an image can be.

I started out making films in middle school. My friends and I would skate around the town, and we wanted to be able to put it on video so we could watch it later. I borrowed my mom's camcorder, and in conjunction with my GoPro, created some of my first films. Just a group of young kids, riding around on four wheels trying to look cool for the camera.

Today, I've been fortunate enough to attend the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, majoring in Creative Media. Through this program, I've met some pretty incredible filmmakers, many of which I'm glad I can call my close friends. It's because of them that I've been able to learn about the craft, how the industry operates, and most importantly, help bring ideas to the screen.
